CLASSES WE OFFER
Our Dance Studio offers a large variety of dance classes for all skill levels and ages. Every class will participate in our spring recital unless otherwise noted. We are passionate about helping each dancer achieve their highest potential, while also having as much fun as possible.

Ballet Tap Combo: This hour long class will give a great introduction to the basics of tap and ballet in a fun, friendly learning environment. Students are grouped according to age. Ages 3-9
Creative Movement: We will explore dance through songs, creative play, and using our imagination. This 45 minute class is a great way for students to become familiar with a classroom setting and etiquette. Ages 2-4
Acro: we will focus on strength, flexibility, and basic tumbling skills.
Ballet is the foundation for many types of dance. Ballet classes will focus on technique, strength, poise, and flexibility. Students will also learn proper ballet terminology.
Pointe students must also take an additional ballet technique class. Enrollment in a pointe class must be approved by the instructor.
Tap class will focus on rhythm and include a variety of tap styles ranging from Broadway to rhythmic tap. Students will learn traditional tap vocabulary, strengthen knees and ankles, and work on articulation of tap sounds.
JAZZ & CONTEMPORARY
Jazz dance is a fun stylized, technical class. We will focus on strength, technique, and rhythm. Enrollment in a ballet class is strongly encouraged with enrollment in jazz.
Contemporary dance is rooted in modern dance. It connects movement to the emotion and musicality of a song. We will explore improvisation and expression in class. Enrollment in a ballet or jazz class is strongly encouraged.
Leaps & Turns: This is a technique class that will focus on the exercises needed to execute incredible leaps and turns. It will build strength and increase flexibility. This class will not perform in the recital.
Hip Hop is a high-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing, breaking, popping, and locking. Classes will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements. Hip Hop dance requires students to have the strength and stamina. Therefore, class includes upper and lower body conditioning as well as a thorough warm-up to help prepare students. Ages 5 & up
